Spring is right around the corner...as is our next Freecycle Frenzy.
If you are a Netflix subscriber, you may be familiar with the latest sensation, Marie Kondo's "Tidying Up." Ms. Kondo created a simple (but not necessarily easy) system for cleaning up our lives by tidying up.
Tonight GAAMC plans to feature the lessons of two episodes that most of us can relate to. Most of us have lost loved ones close enough to us that we had to process their estate. One episode features a woman who suddenly lost her husband, the rock of her world. The other focuses on a young gay couple who recently graduated from college. They met through an app, and have been together for three years. They have invited one of their sets of parents to visit their domicile for the first time, and don't want to give the impression they are still living a dorm-room lifestyle.
Afterward, we'll chat about some of the steps in her system, and how we may apply the principles to our daily lives.
