Municipalities throughout New Jersey offer a variety of curbside recycling programs. Most people are unaware of what happens to the items we “recycle.” The “customers” who buy our recycled items have recently started canceling orders because Americans’ recycled items are too dirty. County recycling programs will begin inspecting the items we put out to be recycled in upcoming weeks. Learn from Trustee Len Resto, who happens to also be the Environmental Commissioner for Chatham Borough in Morris County, the recycling best practices for 2019.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with Open Talk discussion group running from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. After a brief intermission, Len will teach us the most important lessons of this year's Earth Day events.

GAAMC is open to friendly people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. We are an all-volunteer organization that survives on the donations made by our members and guests. To help offset expenses, we suggest a donation at the door of $5 for dues-paying members and $7 for non-members. But, as a community service organization, we don't turn away those who cannot or choose not to make a donation.
