Join a group of 10 GAAMC members and friends as we head to the "Great White Way" to see a modern masterpiece. Indecent tells the true story of what happened to the writers, producers, managers, and cast of "The God of Vengeance," a Yiddish theater play originally written in 1907. The play lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes, without an intermission. Although a play, and not a musical, traditional music weaves through the entire performance, carrying the audience on its emotional journey as we discover the exuberant highs and gut-wrenching lows of trying to produce a play that includes traditional, eastern Europen Jewish customs, prostitution, and a lesbian love affair.
