Saily Avelenda was your typical, modern, suburban, New Jersey housewife, living her dream. She was a seasoned attorney working as in-house counsel for a mid-size bank. She quietly began volunteering for a local political project, behind the scenes.  She was just trying to help out, and no one really knew of her. One day, she was giving a presentation before a small group. The next day, she was all over the local media!
