WE WILL NOT BE MEETING AT THE FELLOWSHIP TONIGHT!!! Instead, you are invited to join us at a very special off-site event.
We are pleased to invite you to an evening with the Honorable Judge Paul Armstrong and John Quinlan, brother of Karen Ann Quinlan and Director of the Foundation for the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice. The event will take place on Monday, February 27 from 6-8 p.m. in Rainis Auditorium on the campus of Saint Elizabeth's University in Convent Station/Morristown. This will be an in person as well as Zoom event for those that would like to attend virtually.
"As a member of the bar, Judge Armstrong was a pioneer of patient’ rights, and argued before the Supreme Court of New Jersey in In re Quinlan and Matter of Jobes as counsel to the families of Karen Ann Quinlan and Nancy Ellen Jobes. He also appeared as Counsel of Record to the amici curiae the American Hospital Association in Cruzan v. Director, Missouri Health Department, and the Medical Society of New Jersey in Vacco v. Quill, before the United States Supreme Court. Judge Armstrong presided over the case State of New Jersey v. Charles Cullen, the convicted nurse serial-killer."-Rutgers Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy.
