In honor of Black History Month, we are tweaking the schedule a bit. The LGBTQ+ Living History presentation will be shared another evening. Tonight, join us as we witness the impact of six Black women who changed forever how the media portrays Black women. This special includes profiles of Lena Horne, Cicely Tyson, Abbey Lincoln, Nina Simone, Pam Grier and Diahann Carroll. Meet six strong women who we thought we knew; six women for whom knowing their place meant knowing their place was not where society said it was. And, that is a big part of why you know their names today!
