Freecycle Frenzy

GAAMC members are a frugal but generous lot, also sensitive to environmental issues. We have created a festive way of sharing and caring. We ask members and guests to bring gently used items that still have plenty of use left in them, and drop them off as they head into our weekly discussion group Open Talk. Volunteers will set up the Terrace Room like a giant flea market. All items are priced the same: $0.00.  Any items that remain after the event will be donated to local charities. For example, Denville Animal Shelter has agreed to take any leftover towels, sheets, blankets, etc. Whatever they cannot immediately use, they will share with other shelters throughout Morris County. Last year's donations included microwaves, coffee makers, dinnerware, filled toolboxes, clothing, books, electronics, luggage, games, music and movies, brick-a-brack of all sorts.

Doors will open at 6:30. Open Talk will take place in the Library from 7:00 - 8:00. Freecycle Frenzy will be held in the Terrace Room from 8:00 - 9:30.
