This is a special invitation from The Discovery Orchestra for free tickets to a live TV show taping for the Gay Activist Alliance in Morris County.

The Discovery Orchestra is a music education organization breaking down barriers to help people of all experiences and backgrounds connect with classical music. Under the direction of Artistic Director George Marriner Maull, The Discovery Orchestra engages audiences through interactive concerts, community outreach events, public television shows, educational videos, podcasts and on the radio. Generations have grown up without experiencing just how meaningful classical music listening can be, and we are seeking to change that.

It would be our pleasure to have GAAMC be a part of the audience for the live taping of The Discovery Orchestra's 6th public television program, which will be distributed by American Public Television on NJPBS and other stations across the country beginning in May 2023. The featured piece is an exhilarating, accessible orchestra work that will be even more exciting through our interactive format. This unique event is by invitation only, and there is no ticket charge for anyone to attend. Hosted and conducted by Maestro Maull, with 90 Discovery Orchestra musicians performing, it will be a wonderful opportunity to experience the Orchestra's educational music listening mission in action!

SPECIAL NOTE: Though this concert is free to attend, it is being filmed and therefore every seat must be filled. GAAMC has secured a small block of tickets, which our Treasurer is holding. This will allow us to sit together. If you can attend, please dress appropriately. If you reserve a ticket and for any reason, you find you cannot attend please email [email protected] so we may release your ticket for someone else to enjoy.
