Although August does not have a national holiday, it is a month of famous birthdays, world changing inventions, historical events, and cultural milestones that shaped the world. Two atomic bombs dropped in 1945 ended World War II, and Woodstock became iconic and the defining pinnacle of the 1960s counterculture movement. After 40 years of delay after the Seneca Falls Convention, the 19th Amendment finally granted women the right to vote. Come join a core group of hearty attendees to view videos of these and other historical events and discuss your memories.
Refreshments will be provided, and a small donation is asked to contribute to our use of the Fellowship. You're also welcome to join a group at a local diner afterward to continue the camaraderie!
