Open Talk is GAAMC’s easiest discussion to join. Just show up! This group is designed to be as open and friendly as possible. The discussion is facilitated by a team of experienced leaders including Elias, Gordon, Kerry and Sherri. This loose and lively one-hour discussion starts at 7:00 PM each Monday in our Library, and this group welcomes people of all ages, gender identities and orientations to talk about topics derived from everyday life. Just coming out? Welcome. New to the area? Welcome. Been out forever? Welcome. Have an question, opinion, or burning desire? Welcome.
8:00 PM: Legal Strategies of Financial Planning
Attornies Susan Dromsky-Reed and Carl Soranno join us from the Roseland firm of Brach Eichler LLC, to discuss what New Jersey couples need to know about financial planning and how to take care of one another. Until there’s marriage equality, we need to have our affairs in order and Susan and Carl will explain what we need to consider under current law to make sure our loved ones are protected.

For each of the past 20+ years, GAAMC member and former Community Trustee, Paul Greenberg has walked in AIDS Walk NYC to help people living with HIV/AIDS. Tragically, we lost Paul to an automobile accident on Monday, May 13th. However, Paul’s account remains open at AIDS Walk. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to honor Paul's memory, and to show your appreciation for his dedication. Follow this link to Paul Greenberg's Sponsorship page.
May 20 7:00 PM: Paris Was A Woman
GAAMC’s Film Festival continues its march toward Pride Month with "Paris Was A Woman," a documentary of the Salon society in Paris between the first and second World Wars. A masterful piece of storytelling that incorporates diaries, home movies and professional interviews of some of the figures guiding art and literature in Paris during its twentieth century Golden Age. Learn more about the names you know and hear their voices in interviews. This is an experience you won’t soon forget, especially for the queer literary types.
7:00 PM Open Talk, facilitated by Sherri Rase
In lieu of Open Talk, on nights when we present a full length film, we invite people to discuss the subject/issues of the film after its screening. Tonight's film and discussion are curated by Sherri Rase.
