May 19th:
Marriage Equality has been on the minds of New Jersey residents for more than 15 years, since before "sexual orientation" was added to NJ's Law Against Discrimination in 1992. The battle for equality is still going on, even here in one of the best places for LGBTI people to live. Tonight we present the New Jersey premiere of Dan Clancy's "Should We Dance".
"Should We Dance" provides the audience a glimpse inside the minds and hearts of a couple that's been together for decades, but is still unsure of how the rest of the world categorizes their relationship. This uncertainty, when combined with the anxiety that can come from being together in the "public" venue of a heterosexual wedding, set the scene for a script that is at times funny, intimate, provocative, and heartwarming.
Dan's plays have appeared off Broadway, in regional theatres, in London, Tel Aviv, and Dublin, among other foreign cities. Awards include: Volunteer Man (OBIE Award, GLAAD nimination for best play), Two Sisters (Joseph Kesslering Playwrighting Award), The First Time (Book and Lyrics, ASCAP Award, Music, Lynn Portas.) The Timekeepers won the Hudson Valley Playwrighting Award, and ran off-Broadway last year. Dan is a member of the Dramatists' Guild, Actors' Equity and ASCAP. This poignant play will activate your mind. Reserve early, seating is general admission.

| June 23rd:
Storytelling is perhaps the oldest of all art forms, as old as language itself. The next words invented after "lookout!" and "holy c--p!" were "Let me tell you what happened last week while I was out hunting woolly mammoth." Unfortunately, with movies and TV, the folk art of storytelling has largely disappeared from modern American culture. Tim Tyler, who comes from a family with a long history of storytelling, does his best to carry on the tradition. In the vein of Garrison Keillor and David Sedaris and the late Quentin Crisp, he presents short vignettes of his life and times with a mixture of humor and wonder. Tim invites you to join him for Tales of Wonder and Grace. Tim’s work spans more than writing – this renaissance man has degrees in hard sciences (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) and social sciences (History). If you haven’t met him, plan to tonight.
