Community Service Primer

Since September 11, 1972, the Gay Activist Alliance in Morris County has met at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship every Monday, and that tradition continues.  Our standard format is that doors open at 6:30 PM, with our Open Talk and other discussion groups meeting from 7:00 until 8:00-8:15.  We then have an intermission for refreshments, to chat with friends, or whatever floats your boat.  Our main program begins at 8:30 and typically ends between 9:30 and 9:45.

It may seem that offering 50-60 meetings, pride events, and other excursions every year just happens organically.  But, nay-nay!

Since the beginning of July, we have lost 3 vital volunteers who dedicated years of service to make sure that GAAMC's doors remained open for YOU!  Is it your turn?  Let us answer that for you.  YES!

There are many simple tasks that people can commit to (without signing any contracts in blood,) that would go a long way to making GAAMC even better.  Attend this meeting to find out more details about jobs that need doing before your current volunteers burn out or suffer a serious case of the fukkits.
